Ya hace un tiempo BMW presentó lo que sería un modelo de una SUV 100% eléctrica denominada como la iNext, por lo que hoy ha salido a la luz que el nombre otorgado para esta sería el iX, además que incluirá 3 versiones, la primera, siendo la versión base ofrecerá hasta 313 caballos de fuerza, luego seguiría un modelo intermedio, el cual ofrecería un total de 530 caballos de fuerza y por último tendríamos el modelo tope de gama, el cuál ofrecería hasta 619 caballos de fuerza.
Cabe decir que debido a su potencia está se colocará por encima del modelo ya presentado anteriormente por la marca bávara, el iX 3 y debido a su tamaño se colocaría entre la X3 y la X5.
Hablando de la batería, está contará con dos opciones, la primera siendo la de menor rango, siendo una batería de 90 kWh, por otro lado está la segunda opción, está sería una batería de 120 kWh, la cuál sería la más grande instalada en un vehículo de producción en serie, la que le daría un poco más de 600 km de autonomía.
Además tenemos una conectividad 5G en el vehículo, la cuál nos permitirá acceder a varios servicios digitales de la marca, como otra parte en la innovación en este vehículo, este contará con una conducción autónoma de tercer nivel.
Por último, está se planea que empiece su fabricación en julio del próximo año, para así poder empezar la distribución del mismo en la segunda mitad del 2021.
