Después de que la industria automotriz cayera, la marca sudcoreana Hyundai se quiso renovar, más que en todos sus modelos en un área en especial, en los deportivos eléctricos, cosa que se pudo ver al unirse con Rimac Automobili.
En este caso se dio a conocer el primer modelo después de dicha unión, el Hyundai RM20e, un vehículo deportivo totalmente eléctrico, que llega para ser el rey de los hot-hatch y que será presentado oficialmente en la Exposición Internacional de Beijing 2020.
Hablando de la forma del coche, éste medirá unos 4.34 m de largo, 1.94 m de ancho y 1.35 de alto, además contará con asientos deportivos y unas paletas detrás del volante para realizar los cambios de velocidad.
Lo más destacado de éste es su motor, el cual genera hasta 810 caballos de fuerza 708 lb-pie, los cuales se irán directamente al eje trasero, para así completar una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en menos de tres segundos y una de 0 a 200 km/h en tan solo 9.8 segundos, llegando así a una velocidad máxima de 250 km/h.
Por último cabe mencionar que éste es el inicio de un gran proyecto, ya que Hyundai espera lanzar 44 modelos ecológicos para el 2025.
