El primero de la familia “recharge” de Volvo.
En las últimas horas Volvo anunció lo que será su primer vehículo de su familia “recharge”, denominados así la nueva línea de automóviles con un sistema eléctrico de Volvo. Este es el Volvo XC40, con el objetivo de reducir el dióxido de carbono en un 40%, El Volvo XC40 T5 Plug-In Hybrid llevará un motor T5, con un cambio automático de siete velocidades de doble embrague, esto con el fin de asegurar el mejor desempeño tanto en ciudad como en viajes largos. Hablando del motor, este tendrá un sistema T5 Twin Engine con dos motores, un turbo naftero, de 1.5 litros que produce hasta 180 caballos y uno eléctrico con 82 caballos de fuerza, esto los lleva a generar en conjunto hasta 262 caballos de fuerza, llevándolo de una velocidad de 0 a 100 km/h en tan solo 7.3 segundos. Además llevará una batería de 10.7 kWh, que le permitirá recorrer hasta 47 km con em motor completamente eléctrico. Y como es de acostumbrar de la marca Sueca, este será un coche que destacara por su seguridad y llegará al mercado a finales de 2020.
