Hace ya un tiempo la marca sueca Volvo presentó lo que sería su primer modelo completamente eléctrico dentro de la marca, el Volvo XC40 Recharge P8, una variante 100% eléctrica de la ya conocida SUV, el XC40.
Después de presentar este modelo, la marca reconocida por su seguridad aseguró que las entregas del mismo empezarían en Octubre del actual año, y hasta ahorita todo va sobre ruedas, está aún asegura que los podrán comenzar a entregar antes de terminar este mes de Octubre.
Además Volvo se aseguró un gran éxito con éste modelo, ya que además de tener una gran demanda, todos los modelos fabricados durante este año ya están vendidos, es decir, al salir de la fábrica en Bélgica de la marca, solo se irán para ser entregados, a diferencia de los que encarguen uno a partir de hoy que deberán de esperar hasta el próximo año para recibir su vehículo.
Éste Volvo contará con un motor eléctrico de 150 kW, generando así 408 caballos de fuerza y 660 Nm de torque, además ira apoyado de una tracción integral, esto junto a una batería de 78 kWh, lo que le permitirá tener una autonomía de más de 400 km y tener una carga rápida de 0 a 80% de carga en tan solo 40 minutos.
Como era de esperar éste Volvo viene con un sistema de seguridad impresionante, pero en lo que cambia es en cómo está acomodada la batería, está irá en el centro del vehículo rodeado de una jaula de seguridad encajada en el mismo centro del vehículo,bajando así el centro de gravedad y mejorando la protección anti-vuelcos.
A nivel de equipamiento y tecnología, éste cuenta con un nuevo sistema de infoentretenimiento Android, conectado con el sistema Volvo On Call, la plataforma de la misma compañía, además de ser un sistema de infoentretenimiento normal, éste le permitirá a los dueños de sus vehículos rastrear el coche, ver el uso de energía del mismo y ver cuanto ya lleva recorrido este.
En el mismo sector tenemos una novedad, toda actualización destinada para este vehículo serán de forma remota, como Tesla lo hace, actualizar el mismo sin la necesidad de llevar tu coche a la agencia, es decir, se harán estas de forma automática.
Por último éste ya tiene un precio de llegada que será de entre unos 60,000 o 66,000 euros, que puede ser bien traducido en entre 1,508,994 y 1,659,959 pesos mexicanos.
