Hace un año la firma italiana Ferrari presentó lo que sería su primer modelo híbrido, el SF90, el cuál igual pasaría a ser el Ferrari más potente de la historia, en ese mismo tiempo salió la nota que para 2030 Ferrari presentaría por fin su primer modelo completamente eléctrico, lo que nos hace dudar si la marca italiana se centrará completamente en lo eléctrico, lo que el CEO de la misma Louis Camilleri nos lo niega con las siguientes palabras: “Realmente no veo que Ferrari esté nunca al 100% de catálogo completamente eléctrico, ni siquiera creo que en algún momento llegue a tener un catálogo 50% eléctrico, eso es empujar las cosas”.
Louis Camilleri tiene una edad de 65 años, lo que significa que nos permitirá seguir disfrutando de sus grandes V12 por mínimo 10 años más que el este al mando de la marca, además esto nos quiere decir que incluso con la presentación en el 2030 de su vehículo eléctrico, la marca del caballo no empezará con la electrificación de todo sus modelos.
En este tercer trimestre de 2020 la marca italiana registró unas ganancias netas de 171 millones de euros, lo que nos dice que la fórmula de Ferrari sigue sirviendo y que por el momento no se ven obligados a entrar a la moda de los eléctricos.
Por último el CEO se quejó de las emisiones dadas por un Ferrari afirmando lo siguiente: “Me arriesgaré y diré que en realidad los Ferrari son buenos para el medio ambiente porque los propietarios no los conducen. Uno de nuestros V12 que recorre menos de 3,000 kilómetros al año, probablemente es menos dañino para el medio ambiente en emisiones netas que un pequeño auto eléctrico que circula todos los días. Tenemos que tomar eso en consideración”. Lo que nos quiere decir que un Ferrari no se usa mucho comparado con un coche para ciudad, entonces que por más altas tenga la emisiones el Ferrari, el vehículo citadino seguirá contaminando más que el deportivo.
