Recientemente la firma americana GMC presentó por fin lo que sería la generación que traería de vuelta el legado de las Hummer, la Hummer EV, una pick-up, la cual va en contra de todo y lleva un diseño polémico e imponente como lo llevo en su primera generación hace más de 10 años.
Esta también denominada supercamiometa adopta algo completamente nuevo para la submarca de GMC, una movilidad eléctrica, lo cuál le permite tener hasta 1,000 caballos de fuerza y 11,500 lb-pie.
Los amantes de ésta no se pueden quejar, ya que mantiene su gran tamaño y sus líneas tan cuadradas, está tiene un largo de 5.5 metros y un alto de 2.05 metros, además GMC no tiene planeado sacar otras versiones de carrocerías para este modelo, sin embargo si planean sacar más modelos pero ya en forma de SUV, ya que empezaron por una pick-up para ganar mercados como es el estadounidense o el mexicano.
Esta Hummer tiene varias novedades, una de ellas es el techo, en el cuál vienen 4 paneles transparentes, los cuales se pueden quitar para quedar totalmente descubierto y poder disfrutar del ambiente externo.
Dentro del vehículo podemos encontrar una pantalla táctil de 13.4 pulgadas y un cuadro de instrumentos totalmente digital de 12.3 pulgadas, además está contará con materiales premium y hechos 100% para uso rudo, ya que recordemos que esta es una camioneta hecha para todo tipo de caminos y tratos.
Una de las principales novedades de la Hummer es el Crab Walk, lo que significa que las llantas traseras giren junto con las delanteras, permitiéndole así moverse de forma diagonal.
Por último esta fue una sorpresa que si bien ya se había anunciado aún no cabía en la mente de la gente que Hummer estaba de vuelta, esta es una noticia muy buena que podrá hacer que la marca americana vuelva a lo grande.
