El 30 de Septiembre de 2017 Audi inauguró oficialmente lo que sería la primera planta de vehículos premium en territorio mexicano, más concretamente en San José, Chiapa, Puebla, para así empezar la producción de la Audi Q5. Desde su inauguración esta ha mostrado una gran capacidad de producción y la capacidad de llegar a los estándares de calidad sin ningún problema, demostrándolo con gran fervor en la producción del primer vehículo híbrido enchufable producido en el país, por lo que hoy Audi anunció que la nueva y renovada Q5 que llega con unos avances impresionantes será producida en dicha planta, para así entrar al mercado en diciembre de 2020.

The production of the new Audi SUV has already started.
On September 30, 2017, Audi officially opened what would be the first premium vehicle plant in Mexico, more specifically in San José, Chiapa, Puebla, to begin production of the Audi Q5. Since its inauguration it has shown a great production capacity and the ability to reach quality standards without any problem, demonstrating it with great fervor in the production of the first plug-in hybrid vehicle produced in the country, for which reason Audi today announced that the new and renewed Q5 that arrives with impressive advances will be produced in that plant, in order to enter the market in December 2020.
