Después de éste anunció nos podemos dar cuenta que el Elva será el segundo McLaren más exclusivo de la historia, solo por detrás del Speedtail, además no sabremos si serán menos unidades, ya que está afirmó que no serán más de 149 unidades las producidas de éste modelo, sin embargo no le cerraron las puertas a que sean menos, esta decisión según McLaren a causa de la falta de piezas y a los pocos espacios de producción en su línea que regresó hace un corto tiempo.
Éste roadster por más espectacular que éste la firma lo saca en mal momento, ya que con todo y que no era el mejor año de la industria, llego el coronavirus, lo que causó una gran crisis económica en todo el mundo.
Por último como ya se mencionó éste estaba planeado arribar en el mercado mundial para antes de acabar el 2020, pero con toda la actual situación de espera que llegue hasta el transcurso del 2021.
