El día de hoy la firma alemana Mercedes-Benz presentó el resultado del proyecto Geländewagen, está es una modificación de la Clase G por sus 40 años en el mercado.
Este proyecto se trata de una colaboración entre el jefe de diseño de Mercedes-Benz, Gorden Wagener y el jefe de diseño de la línea de Louis Vuitton de hombre y fundador de Off White, Virgil Abloh.
En esta argumentaron que intentaron cambiar un vehículo 4×4 en uno para carreras, en el que eliminaron todo lo innecesario tanto del interior como del exterior, para así reducir el peso, además colocaron el volante del prototipo especial, el Project 1, además de unos asientos los cuales están en los coches que compiten en el DTM y unas llantas tipo slicks.
Hablando del motor no especificaron que llevaría, pero se espera que lleve el ya conocido V8 que genera más de 600 caballos de fuerza, además podemos ver la deportividad en la suspensión que fue bajada para así estar casi al ras del suelo.
Por último esta no tendrá un precio, ya que se subastará la única unidad en Octubre de 2020 y todo lo generado será donado a diferentes instituciones.

At last the Geländewagen project is presented.
Today the German firm Mercedes-Benz presented the result of the Geländewagen project, this is a modification of the G-Class for its 40 years in the market.
This project is about a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Chief Designer Gorden Wagener and Chief Designer for Louis Vuitton’s men’s line and Off White founder Virgil Abloh.
In this they argued that they tried to change a 4×4 vehicle into one for racing, in which they eliminated everything unnecessary from both the interior and exterior, in order to reduce weight, they also placed the steering wheel of the special prototype, Project 1, in addition to some seats which are in the cars that compete in the DTM and some slick type tires.
Speaking of the engine, they did not specify what it would carry, but it is expected to carry the well-known V8 that generates more than 600 horsepower, we can also see the sportiness in the suspension that was lowered to be almost level with the ground.
Finally, this will not have a price, since the only unit will be auctioned in October 2020 and everything generated will be donated to different institutions.
