Aunque no sea esta una actualización tan cambiante si es de una gran estrella, esto siendo así el Mercedes AMG GT, del cual solo hablaremos de dos versiones en específico, la coupé y la descapotable.
En cambios generales tenemos que en el motor V8 de 4.0 litros ofrecerá 54 caballos de fuerza adicionales al GT base, generando así 523 caballos de fuerza y pasa de 465 lb-pie a 494 lb-pie de torque.
Todo esto le permite mejorar su aceleración por .2 segundos, lo que lo lleva de una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h de la de 3.9 segundos que tenía a 3.7 segundos, y tendrá una velocidad punta de 312 km/h, 8 adicionales a su versión base.
Además tendrá un nuevo modo de manejo determinado race, el cual al activarlo lleva al coche a cambiar ciertos aspectos como son los el nivel de los amortiguadores, esto gracias a los amortiguadores adaptativos proporcionados por AMG, entre otras cosas tendrá unos frenos de alto rendimiento con pinzas más grandes.
Por otro lado tendrá una nueva versión Stealth, la que tomara como base los paquetes night, la cual oscurecerá todo, es decir, todo será negro y si eso no fue suficiente se le agregara un techo de fibra de carbono, al igual que los asientos, que se tendrá la posibilidad de tenerlos de piel o de fibra de carbono, llevando igual la insignia en la consola central que muestra la exclusividad del mismo.
Por último se espera que esta nueva generación empiece sus ventas a inicios de 2021, con un precio que se espere que empiece en los 115,000 dólares, traducido así en 2,538,717 pesos mexicanos.
