El día de hoy la marca británica Land Roger confirmó la llegada de su nuevo 4x4 a México, con el nombre de Defender la nueva 4x4 de Land Rover llega con todo. Con una capacidad de manejo en cualquier terreno como un manejo muy cómodo en carretera la nueva Defender llega para destruir a su competencia, como es el Jeep Wrangler. Esta promete una capacidad de carga de hasta 900 kg y una capacidad de remolque de hasta 3,500 kg. Además esta contará con un innovador sistema de infoentretenimiento llamado Pivi Pro y un sistema que le permite actualizarse sin que el dueño se de cuenta.
Hablando del motor está contiene sistema Mild-Hybrid, lo cuál aumenta su eficiencia y le da más potencia, para así junto con un motor de seis cilindros en línea y una caja de velocidades automática de 8 cambios logra aportar hasta 400 caballos de fuerza y 406 lb-pie de torque.
Por otro lado esta ofrece una configuración de cinco, seis o hasta siete asientos, haciéndola ideal para familia. Igual la Defender tendrá una cajuela muy amplia, con un espacio de 1,075 litros y hasta 2,380 litros con los asientos recostados.
Por último esta tendrá 6 versiones, empezando por la Standard con un precio de 1,282,450 pesos mexicanos hasta llegar a la X con un precio de 1,932,367 pesos mexicanos.
