Si es verdad que BMW ha estado mucho tiempo en dos de sus modelos más éxitos de su línea deportiva, el M3 y el M4, por lo que hoy por fin llegó el momento de su presentación.
La marca bávara presentó el día de hoy ambos vehículos pero en esta nota sólo hablaremos de uno, el M3, el día de mañana habrá otra hablando del M4.
Esta presentación tardó mucho tiempo en llegar y sin lugar a duda no decepcionó, ya que BMW informó que el M3 se queda fiel a la tradición, con un motor de seis cilindros en línea biturbo de 3.0 litros, éste es capaz de generar hasta 480 caballos de fuerza y 405 lb-pie en su versión básica, todo esto asociado a una tracción trasera y una transmisión manual de seis velocidades, es decir, BMW permanecerá fiel a los tres pedales. Por otro lado nos encontramos con la versión competition, la cual no contará con la transmisión manual, al contrario, éste contará con una transmisión automática de 8 velocidades, la cual junto con una tracción trasera o una tracción integral a elegir apoyan a un motor que generará hasta 510 caballos de fuerza y 479 lb-pie.
Gracias a todo lo ya mencionado, éste tiene una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en tan solo 4.2 segundos para su versión normal y una de 3.9 segundos en su versión competition.
Además de una gran suspensión adaptativa, aquellos que elijan tracción integral no se quedarán sin un vehículo tracción trasera, sino que las llantas delanteras sólo trabajarán cuando las traseras estén trabajando a su máximo o incluso desactivar el control electrónico de estabilidad para así poder dar los mejores drifts.
Estos llegan con un diseño exterior un tanto polémico, ya que llega tomando como base al serie 4, sin embargo no se puede negar que éste tiene un estilo atlético y que el alerón incluido le da un toque más deportivo.
En el interior BMW consigue lo que quiere, tener el sentimiento de estar en un auto de competencia, por lo que sacaron los nuevos asientos M, los cuales pueden mejorarse con los asientos M Carbon, los cuales le dan un peso más ligero para poder disponer de más potencia.
Por último estos llegarán a los principales mercados en Marzo de 2021 para romperla toda.
