El pasado 10 de Octubre la marca norteamericana SSC realizó la prueba en Nevada del su primer modelo, el SSC Tuatara, un híper deportivo que según esta marca estaría destinado para romper el récord de la mayor velocidad oficial registrada hasta el momento.
Y no decepcionó en lo absoluto, ya que éste logró una velocidad máxima de 484.52 km/h en el primer tramo y una velocidad máxima de 532.93 km/h en su segundo tramo, logrando así una velocidad máxima promedio de 508.7 km/h, la mayor velocidad oficial jamás registrada por un coche.
Sin embargo después de anunciar esto se hizo una gran polémica, ya que en el video en el que se anunció dicho record no se podía ver el tacómetro, sino que solo podías ver un contador de velocidad en el que se mostraba la supuesta velocidad a la que iba el coche.
Por lo que mucha gente empezó a acusar a SSC de haber mentido respecto a éste récord, por lo que el fundador de la firma norteamericana salió a decir algo muy sencillo, que esto se iba a repetir, y no solo se iba a repetir, sino que iba a estar la persona que concede dicho récord presente.
Esta segunda prueba aún no tiene una fecha, sin embargo la estaremos esperando y veremos cuál es la realidad tras esto, ya que el fundador comentó que tuvieron un error de producción, razón por la cuál no se podía observar el tacómetro, por lo que solo queda preguntarnos, ¿será un error de producción o en realidad no rompieron el récord y lo están ocultando?
