Hace un tiempo se anunció una marca, la cual se supone sería la principal candidata para arrebatarle el puesto, esta se dio a conocer como Nikola, una marca que prometía una tecnología en sus vehículos descomunales y una mayor autonomía con sus sistema híbrido de partículas de hidrógeno y eléctrico.
Sin embargo esta comenzó a tener problemas, todo empezó cuando los acusaron de fraude, esto porque los acusaban de mentir acerca de sus avances, que los vehículos que mostraban en fotos eran tan solo carrocerías sin interior alguno.
Después de esto llegó la renuncia de su CEO y fundador, el cual afirmó que dejaba la marca, ya que le estaban llegando muchas acusaciones que según el eran falsas.
Estos dos acontecimientos no son todos, sin embargo estos fueron grandes golpes para la marca, por lo que podemos ver que esta misma no está en un buen momento y que poco a poco está irá desapareciendo.
Esto se piensa más con el reciente acontecimiento, ya que GMC (General Motors Company) anunció la recesión de su contrato con Nikola, hasta ahorita el contrato más grande que tenía Nikola y que sería el que le ayudaría a desarrollar su primer modelo, la Nikola Badger, una pick-up que competiría con la Tesla Cyberteuck, pero que por el momento no se podrá hacer.
