Después de que la marca alemana de los 4 aros consiguiera su quinta victoria en las 24 horas de Nürburgring decidió que debían de celebrar esto, y no fue nada más y nada menos que con una edición limitada.
Al lograr estas 5 victorias con el R8 LMS, el cual está hecho para pista decidieron sacar un vehículo construido sobre la base de la nueva generación del R8, lo que le daría el nombre de Audi R8 Green Hell Edition.
Al ser una edición muy especial, éste llevará un color de carrocería único para éste modelo, un verde fuerte Tioman, el cuál hará referencia al apodo de “infierno verde del circuito”. Además si éste color no es de tu agrado tendrás la oportunidad de configurar éste modelo con otros 3 colores: blanco Ibis, gris Daytona o negro Mythos, los cuales vendrán con el detalle del techo en color negro mate y los rines de 22” al igual que el techo negro mate con acabados rojos.
Por otro lado podemos ver en el exterior logotipos de Green Hell R8 en los laterales y una placa con el número de modelo que adquieras.
Ya en el interior podemos ver unos asientos de Alcantara y cuero negro, con detalles como las costuras del color de la carrocería y cómo no un excesivo uso de la fibra de carbono.
Ya pasando por debajo del capote no encontramos ni un cambio, éste se quedará con su motor central V10 de 5.2 litros aspirado naturalmente, el cuál genera hasta 610 caballos de fuerza, además vendrá apoyado de una transmisión automática de doble embrague con siete velocidades, la cuál lleva los 610 caballos a las cuatro ruedas, y gracias a todo lo mencionado éste tendrá una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en tan solo 3.1 segundos, así como una velocidad máxima de 331 km/h.
Por último éste estará limitado a 50 unidades, las cuales tendrán un precio de entrada de 233,950 euros sin contar impuestos, y será construido en la misma fábrica que el Audi R8 LMS.
