El día de ayer enunciamos que la marca bávara BMW presentó la nueva generación de los dos modelos más éxitos de su línea deportiva, el M3 y el M4, a causa de que hablamos del M3 ayer hoy toca hablar como no de su hermano grande, el M4.
Como ya comentamos esta fue una presentación la cual BMW anunció hace tiempo y en ningún momento nos dejaron ver nada acerca de éste modelo, sin embargo todo el tiempo valió la pena, empezando por su motor de seis cilindros en línea biturbo de 3.0 litros lo que llega a generar hasta 480 caballos de fuerza y 405 lb-pie, el cual funciona apoyado de una tracción trasera y por lo que más vale la pena, una transmisión manual de seis velocidades, gracias a esto logrará tener una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en tan solo 4,2 segundos.
Por otro lado tendremos la versión Competition, la cual no llevará una transmisión manual, sino que al contrario, éste llevará una transmisión automática de 8 velocidades, la cual estará apoyando a un motor que no nos hará extrañar a la transmisión manual, ya que logrará generar 510 caballos de fuerza y 479 lb-pie, además tendrá la opción de tener una tracción trasera o una tracción integral, lo que le permitirá tener una aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h en tan solo 3,9 segundos.
Lo más interesante del mismo es que aquellos que se decidan por la versión con tracción integral no se perderán, ya que el sistema de tracción integral solo utiliza las llantas delanteras cuando las traseras están trabajando al máximo, además éste ofrece una función en la cual se desactiva el eje delantero para hacer de éste una auténtica locura para derrapar.
Por último éste llegará en marzo de 2021 a mercados europeos, menos la versión de tracción integral, la cual llegaría en verano junto con el arribo del modelo a mercados como a México.
