Este se destaca por su carrocería color negro, ya sea en mate o metálico, además como su nombre nos indica lo que más destaca de el son sus acabados en color dorado. Su carrocería estará disponible en las 3 carrocerías del serie 8, el coupé, el gran coupé y en convertible. Además esta edición del serie 8 brindará el equipaje M, sin importar la carrocería. En el interior, este se distingue por su grabado en los asientos con el nombre de la edición y un grabado de aluminio en la consola central pintado de color oro. Por último BMW no ha revelado el motor, ni el precio, ni a los mercados que llegará. ¿Creen que BMW siga sacando ediciones especiales o está sea la última.
