Recientemente la firma se hiperdeportivos italiana Pagani anunció la llegada de un nuevo modelo, el Pagani Huayra Tricolore, una edición especial del Huayra con ciertas modificaciones para honrar los 60 años del equipo Frecce Tricolori, perteneciente a la Fuerza Área Italiana.
Esta es la segunda vez que llaman a un modelo Tricolore, después del Zonda que se usó en 2010 para honrar los 50 años de este mismo equipo.
En el exterior podemos ver un Huayra normal pero ligeramente basado en el avión Aermacchi MB-339A P.A.N, el cuál es el utilizo por el equipo Frecce Tricolori, diseñó el cual le permite una mejor aerodinámica y como consecuencia un mejor rendimiento y una mejor conducción.
Para cerrar el exterior, este llega con un gran alerón trasero y un nuevo difusor trasero, los cuales le permiten una mejor estabilidad, además llega con un color azul que hace contraste con la bandera italiana tricolor que tiene en los laterales del mismo.
En el interior como un buen Pagani encontramos un ambiente de deportividad, el cual llega rodeado de materiales exclusivos, como son piezas de aluminio de grado aeroespacial, estas acompañadas de fibra de carbono, además de unos asientos tapizados en cuero fino teñido de blanco y azul para hacerlo así más exclusivo.
Una gran curiosidad en el interior es que cómo está inspirado de un avión, este llega con un anemómetro incluido, el cuál usan los pilotos para medir la velocidad del viento.
En la parte mecánica no llega con ni un cambio, ya que utiliza el mismo motor V12 Mercedes AMG, capaz de generar hasta 840 hp y 811 lb-pie, el cuál es apoyado de una transmisión de doble embrague Xtrac AMT de siete velocidades, la cual lleva toda la potencia al eje trasero.
Por último cabe mencionar que este es uno de los modelos más exclusivos de la historia de la marca, llegando así con tan solo tres unidades, lo cual se ve reflejado en su costo, ya que tiene un precio de 5.5 millones de euros, lo que podría traducirse en aproximadamente 133 millones de pesos mexicanos, siendo así un coche inalcanzable para muchos pero que sin embargo encontrará dueño.
